As a Linux administrator in the NavInfo Europe Team, you will play a key role in the implementation and the deployment of the IT Systems supporting our R&D and operations.

You will facilitate the deployment and maintenance of our IT infrastructure throughout the organization with the objective to safeguard the level of quality & reliability of our products and services to increase the customer satisfaction.

We work with an integral approach on topics related to Autonomous Driving, Smart Mobility, Smart Cities, Cybersecurity, and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV). Multiple disciplines like Control System Design, World Modelling, Motion Planning, Functional & Operational Safety, Sensor Fusion, Software Engineering, Assessment, Artificial Intelligence, Tooling, etc. work together to bring the automated vehicle into life.

How you'll contribute

• Work in a team of Linux administrators reporting to (project) management
• Work on a mix of 2^nd line Linux user support issues and internal IT tasks
• Monitor, Develop and Document IT solutions for our Linux infrastructure.
• Work closely with configuration management and facility management to ensure good user experience and employee on-boarding
• Incidental after hours work and support might be required
• You'll be needed at the office for around 4 days a week to give technical support on site

What you’ll need (must have)

• Our ideal candidate has 5+ years Linux administrator experience in a complex high-tech business across multiple locations.
• B.Sc. degree or equivalent reasoning level
• Experienced with Linux-based server infrastructure
• Experienced with automated infrastructure configuration and provisioning with (preferably) Puppet
• Experienced with networking setup and maintenance
• Experienced with storage systems and protocols
• Experienced with working in datacenters
• Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Innovative problem-solving, design and testing skills
• Highly motivated and customer focused
• Team player mentality
• Strong drive to find and fix the root cause of a problem in a complex IT environment
• A self-starter, able to pick up complex tasks autonomously

What you’ll need (preferred)

• Experienced with AWS/Cloud(s)
• Experienced with state-of-the art storage technologies
• Experienced with Kubernetes management and problem-solving on server and user level
• Dutch and/or Chinese is considered a plus
